With activities ranging from sight-seeing to boating to fishing and more, Starved Rock State Park is a beautiful and scenic locations for both locals and visitors alike.


Not only is the park open to be explored, but you can stay there, too. It’s easy to make reservations at a cabin inside the park or to even stay at the famous Lodge, which features the largest two-sided fireplace in the state. With miles of forest and winding roads surrounding the park, you’ll feel like you’re in a whole different world.


Starved Rock State Park offers regular special events including live music, historical and educational presentations, and more, in addition to the usual great sights the park has to offer, such as plenty of fantastic waterfalls. A quick peek at the site’s event calendar can easily clue you in to local activities and events.
